These are very nice work boots for someone who needs a wide toe like I do. Often steel or composite toe boots are very narrow in the toe and these are not, plenty of room.
The arch support is very good, and honestly the best I have found in a wide toe composite. However I do have other shoes that have better arch support.
The 1 big downside of these boots is that they seem to take a while to break in. Combined with the stiffness of the material on the heel that means they started to wear on my heel kind of hard during the second week. It is better now, but make sure you wear them in small doses to break them in before doing a lot of walking all at once.

I started a new job and needed a new pair of boots. I wanted to get away from the black military boot and decided to give these a try. The fit worked for me out of the box. The toe box felt roomier than a normal D width but I believe that is the way it is sized. I wear a 12 so they look a little big. It took about 3 days to break them in totally but they were pretty comfortable from the start. I usually put an insole in but have decided to give the insole a try and so far it has been pretty good. The soles are great. The design is pretty self cleaning and doesn’t track alot in with you. Being outside this time of year in Michigan, I have walked through mud, dirt, grass, snow and water and the boot are easy to clean. Very happy with them so far.

The boot gives you spring to your step I wore these boots for over 24 hours straight due to an airline strike causing us to change flights, and didn’t get tired of wearing them even though they were new impressive water proof as well.

I wasn’t sure to order these online. I’m a Hvac tech and decided why not. These boots are so comfortable can’t wait to really put these in full use. Definitely recommend

These work boots are amazing comfortable, my feet feel like they are floating on clouds. There water proof claim has been well tried and so far dry feet. As we live in a Tropical Country where we only have 2 seasons Dry and Rainey. The only thing that is discouraging about these boots are the laces, they haven’t even lasted for a year. They have excellent traction and great support. For a boot that is this good I would suggest that Carhart check there lace supplier as these laces didn’t even last a year.

I have a very wide foot making it difficult to find shoes especially for work. Sonormally I get 4E wide width shoes.Even with the composite toe in I chose a size 12W leaving me space in the front and on the side I would most definitely buy these again. They are comfortable on my feet after working a 12 hour shift In the warehouse.I didn’t have to break them in right away they just right for me.

Very little breaking in needed, boots breath well if you don’t lace too tight. Good grip on snow.

The Carhartt Ground force get a good work out of 10 hrs per day plus weekends. They have so far lived up to their claims about water proof and comfort. As I use them mainly in a tropical climate I am very pleased with them and know that my feet are well protected. They have saved me from having foot damage as well as they are very supportive for the ankle. I would buy them again if I ever wear these out.

The best boot I have ever worked in.
No brake in needed they just feel right from the start.

I wore them all day on Saturday to “break them in”. It did not take long. The shoes were fine all day. These are my first composite protected toe shoe and in fact my first protected toe shoe. They were comfortable, no blisters, no rubbing, no pinch points. I have Carhartt 6″ shoes that are not with a protected toe and those lasted for years. I stuck to the brand and I am glad that I did.

These are the most comfortable new work boots I have ever had. Walked 18,000 steps the first day without any discomfort as a matter of fact I felt li9ke I was wearing an already broken in pair of boots. They are outstanding.
