- Lace-up work boot with a composite safety toe that meets or exceeds ASTM F2413-18 I/75 C/75 EH (electrical hazard) safety standards.

Love this boot! Unlike a lot of other boots I’ve tried claiming to be waterproof, this boot truly is. Standing in 3″ of water with a hose running onto the lower laces and my feet stayed perfectly dry. They also are really comfortable and my orthotics fit perfectly in them.

I ordered these for my husband after a pair of Timberlands split through the bottom after only a few months. He is on his feet all day and found these Carhartts super comfortable, even more than the Timberlands with Dr. Scholl’s inserts! He really loves the style and received many compliments from coworkers. They also fit true to size and the waterproofing is a plus! I will definitely order these again and highly recommend them. No more Timberlands.

I love these boots. This is my second time ordering them, I got two years of hard daily use at work in the construction industry. Super comfortable, highly protective, and have saved my feet from injury on several occasions. Highly recommend!!

I purchased these for my husband that has a very hard time finding comfortable boots/shoes as his feet have issues with bunions. He got these boots and put them on and has worn them every day to work!
Normally, he has to ‘break’ new boots in for a week or more, and sometimes they still hurt his feet. He is on his feet most of the day in the elements as he works for an airline as a ramp agent. Also, the soles are holding up really well on the concrete. I will definitely get him another pair!

Today I’ve ordered a second pair of these excellent boots, having worn my first pair for almost two years.
I’m an airline Ramper, walking around all day long on tough concrete, jumping on and off G.S.E., etc. and I’ve found these Carhartt boots to be excellent.
The sole has worn very well, and only now, after two years, have the treads gotten to the point that I want a new pair.
Waterproof — absolutely — never have my feet gotten wet while wearing them, even during driving rain or walking through 2 inch puddles.
Also they are very lightweight due to the composite toe (rather than steel) — and that composite toe is super tough and hard, able to handle kicking the latch on a dolly, cart, or anything else I’ve tried.
Another thing I like is how easy they are to put on and take off.
The best thing you’ll immediately notice is that they fit well and do not require “breaking in” — right out of the box they fit my feet comfortably, “like pillows”, and I was able to go right to work!

I just want to review these before I return them. I have to buy approved work boots for TOM team, and these are on the list. I bought these because they were the only ones where a reviewer had mentioned that these boots did not irritate bunions. My experience has been the opposite. They immediately began to rub on my bunion, and I had nice thick socks on. I tried just wearing them around the house, so that I could return them if needed, and after about two hours my bunion was inflamed. There is no way I could have made it through my 10 hour shift.
I also noticed immediately that the insole were flat, though I always expect to upgrade insoleTs immediately, especially in work boots.
I really liked the looks of this boot, made me feel like I was back in my younger punk combat boot days. The leather on these looks really nice, with a deep black that seems to be built to last, and I think would age well with care.
These boots were on the heavy side, and may have been too much for a 10 hour day on concrete, but I also know that many of these are going to be on the heavy side, with the ruggedness and composite toes.
In conclusion, nice looking boots, a bit heavy, not good for bunions at my usual width, and make sure you order insoles to arrive with the boots.

If you’re maintenance at an Amazon Facility, Post Office, Warehouse and work numerous hours per day, this boot is for YOU! Will last a great while due to quality. Snug fit. Waterproof and oil/grease/slip resistant. overall 9/10 but on the scale I am given I give it a 5/5. Thanks Zappos (annual repeat customer)

No comfort at all is just a bad design, my job depends on me using this shoe so if is not accurate then I am out of luck and zappos and carhart will not pay for my wages

Tried the Keens but not a good fit for a wide foot despite the “wide” designation. These are perfect (2E), note I ordered 1/2 size smaller than sneakers. Really well designed and great fit. Only nit is the laces are only 60” instead of 63” standard and feel a bit cheap. Still a really good value (even with purchasing laces separately).
Tried the Timberlines before these too, also not a true 2E. Also the heal cup is really low and unless you have a short heal are uncomfortable.

These are one of two pairs of boots that I have been wearing for the last 5 months of work, rotating daily. I thought they were good, but they are starting to fall apart. They have a hole worn through the tongue of the boot from the laces or poor material and are no longer waterproof. Would have thought for the money they would have lasted a year…

Boot fit as expected, the box toe really helps with the width. These boot are comfortable right out of the box. I did not really need to break them in. By far my favorite part of these boots are how wide they open at the top to allow easy access to putting on and off the boot without it losing the ankle support. I hope the easy break in does not mean they will be a problem when they near end of life.

I’ve worn these boots hard over the past 2 years. Fast-paced jobs like Picker at Amazon or General Labor construction broke in the boots wonderfully.
I know boots last as long as the level of activity, but man I feel like they would last a life-time.
