Pants fit great – very true to size. Mine only shrank a little after washing and drying but they stretched right back out when you wear them. Much more modern looking than the typical Carhartt.

My son said they have a stretch in them that makes them feel comfortable.

These fit like clown pants.

I really like these pants. I was not absolutely sure that I would like them as they are not my usual style but they are really nice. I ordered a size up from my normal size to make sure that I had enough room but they fit perfectly.

Typical Carhartt quality and tough material. My style and comfort.

The waist size seems to run pretty small. I had to go to a 44″ and they barely fit my waist. All of my other pants are 40″ or 42″.

As someone who typically wears a size 32 waist, I found the fit of these pants to be unusually snug. After initially purchasing a size 32, I exchanged them for a size 34. While the larger size offered a slightly better fit, it still felt more constrictive than I prefer. Perhaps a 36 would be better but that’s just ridiculous.
It’s perplexing to me that standard measuring units like inches, millimeters, and centimeters, which are universally recognized, don’t always translate to uniform sizing across different brands and products. Are companies just guessing at sizes? A more standardized approach to clothing measurements would greatly benefit consumers and result in less returns.
One notable aspect is the lack of flexibility in the material, particularly around the waistband. Despite being marketed as having ‘flex’ properties, my experience was that they exhibited minimal stretch, having no stretch in the waist and very little if any throughout the pant. This rigidity is reminiscent of older pant designs and differs from the more modern, flexible materials available today.
While these pants do have durable construction, I would suggest sizing up for a more comfortable fit. Additionally, those seeking pants with significant stretch may find these to be less accommodating than expected.

I have this pair in shorts that are favorites. I’m returning these because the back hits higher than I like and the seam stitching is rough and scratchy. I have to tuck my shirt in to tolerate the scratch.
