I’m usually a medium in clothes, pear shape 5’4″ but nearly always size up in coats for a better fit around my hips. Got this coat in a large and medium. Large fit OK once I cinched the waist, medium also fit but was snug around my hips. I would’ve kept the large but I didn’t like the jacket. This isn’t the normal carhartt canvas type material, it is more of a parachute material…ugh. My bad for not reading about the material. In the photos is looks like a cotton or canvas but it’s a swishy cheap material, disappointed in carhartt…

The style and price were perfect, until I tried it on. The sleeves felt like they were sewn on too close to the front of the jacket, so it would only work if you had a broad chest but no boobs. (Yes, like a man). The sleeves were huge in circumference(yes, like a man with huge guns). And it was too narrow in the hips.
Even bought 2 sizes and still the hips didnt fit. Dissapointed.

Comfortable, great for everyday wear, or when working in the yard. Two way zip, which is a must for me. Not the prettiest jacket in my closet, but great, when practicality out ways fashion!

It was a little long and I wish it had a little split in the back so it wasn’t so tight over my hips

I thought Zappos had accidentally sent a men’s coat, but sadly this coat just does not fit a woman’s body well. Very straight and blah. I’m not a super hippy person but it’s tight around the hips and loose around the middle. It’s not a flattering look for sure BUT if you have the body of a 14-year-old boy and a desire not to get wet, this will do the job. It seems well-made despite issues with the fit.
