I have an several old pairs of Levi’s cargo pants, size 36/30. The front rise is 12″ and back rise is 16″. The fit is great. But I have not been able to find Levi’s or any other brand with the same rise. I purchased a pair of Carhartt jeans with the same measurements; however, the rise is shorter than stated, but wearable. Then I found a pair of Carhartt twill and ordered the same size although the back rise was stated at 17″. Upon receipt I took one look and knew they were not the same size as the jeans. In fact the waist is two inches smaller, the back rise is two inches shorter and the front rise was over one inch shorter. I was impressed that Zappos showed the two rise measurements but they are not dependable even between two pairs of the same Carhartt pants – jeans and twills.

These are very durable pants. They are quite heavy but that comes with the territory. I’ve found that they feel a size smaller than marked.

Got these for my husband because he loves to garden, and had been doing so in his pajama pants… these are obviously much better! Very soft material but tough and good quality. As per other reviews I went one size up in the waist and they fit perfectly.

I have owned several different pairs of Carhartts, and these are the most comfortable by far. They are very soft but firm and durable. They also fit my slender frame very well. Not slim fit, but straight and still comfortable.

Durable enough for work, yet fashionable. Great tan color (not the orange-y color you’ve seen with other Carhartt products). Comfortable fit, but not too baggy.

Fit great! I like that they look more like jeans when you wear them then they do kaki pants. Work great if you need to look professional at work but you have a very physical job.

I’m on my fourth pair of these. Waist is very true to size so don’t expect vanity sizing. Each pair last me about 1.5 years. I wear them twice a week for work and as expected they eventually do wear out. They keep their shape and the khaki colors fade minimally over years of washing.

it has become very difficult to find pants without spandex, or one of its many cousins, these days. which is very difficult to understand.
they fit great, and feel real smooth. slick, even.
I guess they look alright. I don’t really look at myself very often.
